Free Anko is a participatory performance in which homemade anko becomes a medium for exchanging desire, attention, and care. Participants write down something they truly desire and offer the note, together with their name, to asamicro. In return, they receive homemade anko, which they eat. Through writing, offering, receiving, and eating, a simple exchange becomes a small choreography between the participant and the artist.

Free ANKO は、自家製あんこを媒介に、参加者が自らの「欲望」を言葉にし、他者へ差し出すことで、その欲望と身体の関係を体験する参加型パフォーマンスでもあります。
参加者は、自分が今望んでいることを紙に書き、自分の名前とともに作者へ手渡します。その行為と引き換えに、自家製あんこを受け取り、口にして飲み込みます。
ここで交わされるのは、欲望とあんこの単純な交換ではありません。自分の欲望を言葉にし、他者に向けて差し出すことは、「私はこれを望んでいる」と自分自身を引き受ける行為でもあります。欲望を持つことを、抑えるべきものではなく、自分を励まし続ける力として捉えています。
紙に書かれた欲望は身体の外へ差し出され、その代わりに受け取ったあんこは、口を通して身体の内側へ入っていきます。書く、手渡す、受け取る、口にする、飲み込むという一連の行為を通して、見えない欲望を身体的な経験へと変換します。
ダンサー／振付家として、私はこの一連の行為を、参加者自身が行う小さな振付として捉えています。作品は、あんこそのものではなく、欲望を差し出す身体と、それを受け取る身体、その間に生まれる時間と関係によって立ち上がります。
Free ANKO is not a work that is tied to any one particular place.
It can take place in many different environments where people gather, pause, and encounter one another.
Galleries, festivals, public spaces, schools, community spaces, markets — or places that do not yet have a name.
When the place changes, the people we encounter, the desires that are written down, and the relationships that emerge also change.
I look forward to seeing how Free ANKO continues to transform through encounters with different places and people.

Free ANKO は、特定の場所だけで完結する作品ではありません。
人が集まり、立ち止まり、誰かと出会うことのできるさまざまな場所で実施することができます。
ギャラリー、フェスティバル、公共空間、学校、地域の場、マーケット、あるいはまだ名前のついていない場所。
場所が変われば、出会う人も、書かれる欲望も、そこで生まれる関係も変わります。
私は、Free ANKO がそれぞれの土地や人との出会いによって変化していくことを楽しみにしています。
